Death by Degrees: The Health Crisis of Climate Change in Maine December 27, 2015
PSR Maine released their updated report Death by Degrees: The Health Crisis of Climate Change in Maine in 2015. PSR Maine’s new report, is an update to their original report of the same name released in 2000, which was considered groundbreaking at the time. In the 15 years since, other healthcare professionals, policy makers, and citizens have grown increasingly concerned about the health threats of climate change.
“This report makes it clear that climate change is affecting the health of people all across Maine, sometimes severely,” said Karen D’Andrea, PSR Maine Executive Director. “We can all play a part in mitigating climate change. The medical professionals and health advocates of PSR Maine are calling for action on climate change.”
